Community Connection Program

FOSTERING INCLUSIVITY AND CELEBRATIONS

Our Connecting Georgia program, in partnership with the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities - Office of Prevention Services, hosts and sponsors cultural festivals across the state. These festivals create environments where individuals can connect and access vital resources on mental health promotion, substance abuse prevention, and suicide prevention. We aim to foster inclusivity, celebrate diversity, and ensure that everyone feels supported and valued.

Cultural Festivals:

Our festivals provide opportunities for individuals to engage with wellness activities, enjoy local culture, and access critical mental health and substance abuse prevention resources.

Wellness Tent:

The wellness tent at each festival offers services like meditation, sound baths, and wellness resources, creating spaces for self-care and community connection.

Community Engagement:

We partner with local leaders, community members, vendors, and artists to create vibrant, inclusive festivals that celebrate the unique culture of each community while promoting mental health and wellness.
